Ethics is about doing the right thing for the right reasons. In this online course, we focus on IOM's core ethical values such as integrity, loyalty, independence and impartiality. These values are the foundations on which IOM's legal rules, such as the Standards of Conduct and Unified Staff Regulations and Rules, are based. They are the same values no matter where we work or what we do for IOM. After completing this course, if faced with a dilemma, you will be able to make decisions in line with the organization’s ethical and behavioural standards.
