This course aims to enhance Member State capacity to meet their commitments under the 2005 International Health Regulations and strengthen health systems, including border health systems, using a mobility approach. The training, anchored in IOM’s Health, Border and Mobility Management (HBMM) Framework, is designed to contribute to the prevention and mitigation of public health threats along the mobility continuum. It targets front-line responders at points of entry, transit centres, health facilities and other spaces of vulnerability.
