Community Policing Course

This course provides an introduction to Community Policing with conceptual and practical tools for law enforcement, community members and civil society organizations.

Community Policing (CP) is a versatile tool for enhanced Migration Management that helps rebuild trust between communities and law enforcement and improve safety and security. In detailing the multi-faceted aspects of its core features, the course leverages the experience and lessons learnt collected throughout the implementation of the CP programme in Iraq since 2012, including reflecting on the importance of the tool’s institutionalization as key to risk management, government ownership and sustainability.
